Das AL360 Slalom Foil in HD Bauweise wird komplett in der EU, im eigenen Werk, hergestellt und entwickelt. Es ist in der PWA registriert.

Die Foils werden erst nach der Bestellung produziert. Dies hat den Vorteil, dass man immer die aktuellste Version mit dem neuesten Entwicklungsstand bekommt. Außerdem ist es nachhaltiger, da es keine Überproduktionen wie z. B. bei großen Herstellern, gibt. Die Lieferzeit der AL360 Slalom Foil HD PWA Aluminium + Titan liegt je nach Jahreszeit bei ca. 3-4 Wochen.

Die HD Version ist gegenüber der Standard Bauweise deutlich steifer und auch für schwerere Fahrer geeignet. Außerdem hat der Mast des AL360 Slalom Foil HD PWA ein dünneres Profil, nur 11,4 mm, was zusätzlich noch die Performance/Geschwindigkeit steigert. Es gibt insgesamt 4 Frontwing Größen von 365 - 550 cm².

Die Frontwings des AL360 Slalom Foil HD PWA sind selbst zentrierend konstruiert und werden mit 4 x M6 Schrauben befestigt. Die Fuselage wird mit 3 x M6 Schrauben am Mast montiert.

Das AL360 Slalom Foil HD PWA gibt es wahlweise mit Fuselagen aus Aluminium oder Titan. Jeweils mit Längen von 870mm oder 1.000mm. Die 1.000mm Fuselage gibt es als Standard Version oder als -2 Version. Bei der -2 Version ist die Mastposition an der Fuselage 2 cm weiter vorne, dadurch wird weniger Power generiert, was besser bei stärkerem Wind ist.

Nach langen Tests und Studien betritt Al360 2024 die Welt des PWA-Foilings. Ausgehend von der TOP-Produktpalette.

Mit seinem neuen AL360 registrierten PWA Slalom Foil HD, geboren aus dem bereits leistungsstarken AL360 Slalom-Pro Foil.

Eine kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung der Wasserlinien mit bis zum Äußersten reduzierten Profilen und sehr geringer Mastdicke. Das garantiert dem AL360 Slalom Foil HD PWA Aluminium + Titan maximale Steifigkeit und Torsionsstabilität. All dies wird durch die Untersuchung, das Design und die Verwendung von Materialien erreicht, die nur für die extremsten Anwendungen reserviert sind, wie Formel 1, Luft- und Raumfahrt und Militärluftfahrt.

Alle Komponenten, Frontflügel, Stabilisatoren und Masten werden in zwei Versionen hergestellt. HD (ULTRA HIGHT MODULUS) und Standard (HIGHT MODULUS).

Vorteile:

Die HD-Version ist die steifere Version für schwerere Fahrer und ermöglicht kontinuierliche Beschleunigung ohne Leistungsverlust bei stärkeren Windbedingungen und im Grenzbereich.

Die Standardversion ist komfortabler und wird bei leichteren Windbedingungen verwendet.

Mast aus 100 % ULTRA HIGHT MODULUS Carbon, Länge 95 mit bereits auf 2° eingestelltem Grundwinkel und einer superfeine Profil Dicke von nur 11,4 mm und Chord 105 mm. Der Mast Kopf hat die moderne Straight Foil Deep Tuttle Form, das bedeutet, er ist oben gerade und nicht schräg, wie es z. B. bei DTU Finnen der Fall ist. Der Kopf kann jedoch auf die normale DTU Form angepasst werden. Die Schnittkante für die Anpassung ist markiert.

Experten Tipp

"Das AL360 Slalom Foil HD PWA Aluminium + Titan funktioniert am bestem mit einem Mast Rake von ca. 2.4° bis 2.7°. Wir empfehlen bei ca. 2.5° zu beginnen. Passende Shims gibt es hier bei uns. Aus Stainless Steel 316 von AL360, oder in einer Kunststoff Version aus eigener Produktion. Für den Backwing/Stabi ist Anfangs am besten der 2° Shim geeignet. Die 87 cm Fuselage ist optimal bei sehr starkem Wind mit den 365 cm² und 425 cm² Frontwings. Seit 2025 gibt es die 1.000 mm Fuse als -2, mit einer um 2 cm nach vorne versetzten Mastposition. Dies ist eine sehr gute Ergänzung, gerade bei starkem Wind oder sehr leichten Fahrern.
