Finian Maynard bringt das Wissen, basierend auf 40 Jahren Erfahrung in Wettkampf, Shape, Design, Fertigung, Schleifen/Finishing, Tests und Entwicklung sowie 24 Weltmeistertiteln/-Rekorden (14 als Athlet, 10 als Designer/Shaper). Die CAD Software erleichtert die Umsetzung.

"Nach einer achtmonatigen Auszeit, die sich für mich eher als „Garden-Off“ denn als kompletter Rückzug vom Sport (wie ursprünglich im November letzten Jahres geplant) entpuppte, bin ich letztendlich sehr zufrieden mit meiner Entscheidung, mit neuem Elan und Energie zurückzukehren. Ich habe die Erfolge bei den Sommerwettkämpfen sehr genossen, insbesondere Pierres zweiten PWA-Weltmeistertitel auf FMX. Es war ein tolles Erlebnis, vor Ort dabei zu sein und diesen Moment mitzuerleben. Auch die letzten Monate, in denen ich an neuen Projekten und Designs, technischen Verbesserungen, neuen Layups und leistungssteigernden Features gearbeitet habe, haben mir viel Freude bereitet. Ich bin hochmotiviert, die Marke weiterzuentwickeln. Bisher läuft alles gut, und ich bin sehr stolz auf die neue Kollektion 2026. Ich habe viel daran gearbeitet, insbesondere die neuen Speedboards waren aufgrund meiner langen Geschichte in dieser Disziplin ein besonderes Projekt. Speed dedicated deck concave design – Consistent stability in the entire deck aero package improves the handling and acceleration. Designed to increase low drag downforce and nose trim stability at high speed.

Reverse Vee bottom shape – Generous vee and slight double concave configuration in the nose to clear the chop and create a smooth ride, transitioning to almost no vee and no dc in the tail for reduced drag in the wetted surface area for ultra high speed bursts and acceleration.

The deck layup of the 74 is with 45 degree biax carbon for a slightly more forgiving feel, although the stiffness is still excellent to maintain the direct feeling and glide on the fin in all conditions.

Short Tuttle Strong Box – Double the carbon content, double the wall strength and stiffness, and built with a 100% high-density PVC sandwich body. The result – fins stay tight and the box holds the direct feeling performance even after years of prolonged use.
